ABOUT PLAN B TIRES
Before opening their first tire retail store, Edna and Ricardo opened a tire recycling company that focused on removing junk tires. The business started off as a warehouse in 2008 recycling used tires and slowly moved into the selling of used tires as wholesale. With both Edna’s and Ricardo’s background in business and being previous owners of multiple business such as, Ricardo’s trucking company, and Edna’s calendar sports wear, they understand the importance of having a back up plan. Or as we know it today, “Plan B” to their tire recycling company.
In 2010 Edna and Ricardo opened their first retail used tire shop in Danbury CT. Plan B Tires is a locally and family owned tire shop. Edna is the president of the company, and runs it with her husband Ricardo Lopez and two sons Ricardo jr. and Jose. Although Edna and Ricardo are parents of three, their youngest, Laura is still in school and studying. As a family they love helping their customers because they know the importance of every dollar and how hard saving money can be.
Since 2010 Plan B Tires has continued to serve the greater Danbury area, providing friendly, professional, customer service and a product that will last. With continued customer support, Plan B Tires has now opened a new tire shop in, New Milford Ct, to better service their customers.

ALIGNMENTS
Your wheels will perform best when they are properly aligned. Everyday travel over bumps, holes, and swerves can make tires go out of alignment. Aging shocks or struts will also impact tire wear. Even if the wheels are just a little bit out of alignment, not even able to be noticed by the naked eye, tires wear out faster and your gas mileage will go down. Control and handling can also be negatively affected by improper alignment issues.
- Visual inspection of steering and suspension components.
- Tire pressure adjusted.
- Alignment angle adjustments to factory specification.
TIRE ROTATION
Most tires tend to wear unevenly for many reasons. The front tires on your vehicle tend to wear most on their outside edges, but all tires can wear unevenly due to even the slightest imbalance or misalignment. Good tires are an investment for safety and to get the most life from your tires it’s a good idea to have them rotated approximately every 6 months. If you have your tires rotated twice a year it helps them wear more evenly and last longer. Tire rotation is even more important if you have a front wheel drive vehicle.
- Remove tires.
- Check the wear patterns.
- Put tires back on where they will wear most evenly.
